Tuolumne County, CA — CAL Fire reports that the forward progress has been stopped on a vegetation fire burning along Rawhide Road.
The fire is about four acres in size. There are some homes in the area, but at this point there are no reports of any being damaged. The aircraft from Columbia assigned to the fire has been released back to base, but ground crews will remain on scene for several hours doing the mop-up work. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
