Calaveras County, CA – Cal Fire reports the Oak Fire is 100%.
The fire located between Copperopolis and Angels Camp was first spotted on Sunday afternoon on top of a ridge near Riata Way, Hunt Road and Pool Station Road. At the height of the blaze, five homes were evacuated on Riata Way and an evacuation shelter was set up in Copperopolis. The fire destroyed one outbuilding. The cause is still under investigation.
