Improper Generator Use Results In Fire

Tuolumne, CA — A portion of a home caught on fire in the 20500 block of Gerber Road in Tuolumne County.

It started at around 7:40pm last night. CAL Fire reports that a tenant added gasoline to a running generator, and it ended up sparking a fire. It burned both inside and outside the residence. The total dollar damage is estimated to be $5,000. There were no injuries as a result of the fire.
