Update 3 p.m.: Cal Fire spokesperson Lisa Williams reports Air-Attack from Columbia has been called off the scene of the vegetation fire that started around 2:30 p.m. in some grass along Old La Grange Road and Highway 132 in La Grange.
Original Post 2:36 p.m.: La Grange, CA — Air-Attack from Columbia along with Tuolumne County firefighters are heading to a vegetation fire in Stanislaus County.
The flames broke out in some grass along Old La Grange Road and Highway 132. Cal Fire spokesperson Lisa Williams reports it is half acre to an acre in size and moving at a slow rate of spread. She adds the local resources called to the scene to assist include five engines, 2 hand crews and a dozer. There is no word on whether any structures are threatened at this time.
