Swiss Ranch Road Fire Victim Taken To UC Davis

Mountain Ranch, CA — CAL Fire has released a few more details about yesterday’s fire on Swiss Ranch Road.

The fire ignited at 4:35pm in the 6000 block of Swiss Ranch Road in Mountain Ranch. CAL Fire reports that one person was flown to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment related to burn injuries, but the individual’s identity has not been made available. The fire burned two acres of vegetation and also damaged a vehicle. CAL Fire units responded from West Point, San Andreas, Arnold, Murphys, Valley Springs, Altaville, Standard, Amador and Growlersburg. In addition, resources were assigned from the Stanislaus National Forest, Tuolumne County Fire, San Andreas Fire and Central Fire.

CAL Fire reports that the cause remains under investigation. No homes were damaged.
