Update: Oak Fire Nears Containment

Cedar Ridge, CA: Cal Fire reports the Oak Fire burning in Tuolumne County is now 95% contained and the acreage remains at 106.

The fire broke out at 1:23 pm on Tuesday along Old Oak Ranch and Big Hill roads forcing evacuations and road closures.    Three structures were destroyed in the blaze including one home and two out buildings. The flames left nearly 70 PG&E customers without power for more than a day. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
