Lake County, CA — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office reports that a fourth fatality has been confirmed in connection to the Valley Fire.
The Sheriff’s Office reports that it is presumed to be Robert Tyler Fletcher, who was reported missing to authorities on September 16. Four fatalities have now been reported in relation to the Valley Fire, and an additional two from the Butte Fire. The Valley Fire has burned 76,067 acres and it is 80% contained. Over 1,900 structures have been destroyed. A mandatory evacuation order remains in effect for the community of Cobb. 3,303 firefighters are still assigned to the incident. The fire is burning in Lake, Sonoma and Napa counties.
