San Andreas, CA — Over 1,300 firefighters remain assigned to the Butte Fire today.
The fire is holding at 70,868 acres and it is 93% contained. There are no longer any helicopters or air tankers assigned to the incident. All evacuation advisories have been lifted and full containment is still anticipated by next Thursday. There are 68 engines on scene, seven water tenders and nine dozers.
The Valley Fire burning in Lake, Napa and Sonoma counties is now up to 95% containment and it is 76,067 acres. 1,668 firefighters are assigned to the fire.
