Update: Structure Fire In Jamestown Contained

Update at 3:05 p.m.: Cal Fire reports a house fire on the 19000 block of Golden Dove Road near Golden Dove Lane in Jamestown is contained. Cal Fires spokesperson Lindy Shoff reports that crews will remain on the scene for several hours mopping up and checking for hot spots. She did not have any information on what might have sparked the blaze.

Update at 2:15 p.m.: Cal Fire has ordered additional crews including another water tender to battle the blaze, which was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters first arrived on the scene, according to Cal Fire.

Original at 1:45 p.m.: Jamestown, CA — Firefighters are battling a house fire in the Golf Links area of Jamestown.

Crews were reportedly called to the 19000 block of Golden Dove Road near Golden Dove Lane. Cal Fires spokesperson Lindy Shoff reports that when firefighters arrived the home was fully engulfed in flames.

There is no word on what sparked the blaze of whether the flames have spread to any nearby vegetation. We will bring you more information as soon as it comes into the newsroom.
