Fire Destroys Don Pedro Rec Agency Building

La Grange, CA — CAL Fire reports that a fire ignited last night that destroyed the Don Pedro Recreation Agency headquarters on Bonds Flat Road in La Grange.

The fire was reported at around 9:30pm and six engines, three water tenders, two crews and a chief officer responded. Some nearby vegetation also burned. What ignited the fire remains under investigation. The Don Pedro Recreation Agency, which is responsible for the recreation element of Lake Don Pedro, is sponsored by the Turlock Irrigation District, Modesto Irrigation District and City and County of San Francisco. We’ll pass along more information when it becomes available from fire officials.
