Tuolumne County, CA — Fire crews are mopping up a vegetation fire that ignited around noontime on Highway 108.
A vehicle caught on fire and it quickly spread to five acres of grass, according to CAL Fire. Air and ground resources responded and quickly contained the fire. No injuries were reported as a result of the blaze.
An investigation into the more specific details regarding how the fire started is ongoing. Traffic is moving freely on Highway 108.
