Event Will Focus On Calaveras Storm Recovery

Angels Camp, CA — Calaveras County government leaders are encouraging residents impacted by the recent storms to mark the calendar about an upcoming event.

A Local Assistance Center will be set up on Wednesday, February 1, and Thursday, February 2, at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds in Angels Camp.

There will be a mix of community organizations, local government officials, and state and federal agencies, who can provide information and assistance to those impacted. The hours will be 7am-7pm on both days.

More information will be forthcoming.

At least 80 structures, a mix of homes and businesses, were damaged by impacts like flooding and downed trees.
