Sonora, CA — Officials were dispatched to a vegetation fire at around 6am in the Cuesta Serena area of Sonora near the 18000 block of Via Serena.
Initially there was a report of a structure being threatened, but the fire’s forward rate of spread was quickly stopped at one acre. What ignited the fire is under investigation. Officials will be on scene this morning mopping up the incident.
