Original post at 3:32 p.m.: Calaveras County, CA — Nearly 6,000 PG&E customers are without power.
The lights went out right before 3 p.m. for customers stretching along the Highway 49 and 4 corridors, including Copperopolis, Angles Camp, Murphys, and Sheep Ranch, to just before Avery and Arnold.
The utility reports that crews are investigating the cause and have given a restoration time of 7 p.m.
