Sutter Creek, CA — In Amador County, a fire caused extensive damage to a building located at 76 Main Street in downtown Sutter Creek early this morning.
The Sutter Creek Police Department reports that the blaze is under control but there will be traffic disruptions in downtown Sutter Creek throughout the morning hours. Main Street is closed between Randolph and Hanford Street.
Several agencies responded to the incident to extinguish the flames.
The building has housed different restaurants over the years and most recently was the Sutter Greek restaurant. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
