Update at 2:15 p.m.: Firefighters are making progress on a vegetation fire that has spread to a structure in Tuolumne County, according to CAL Fire spokesperson Lindy Shoff. The flames are in the 29900 block of Mariposa Drive off Trinity Drive in the Cold Springs area off Highway 108. The structure was reported to be fully engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived. Shoff did not have further details regarding the size of the vegetation fire but noted that having the aircraft called off the blaze means crews are getting a handle on it.

As for the structure fire, crews are still working to knock it down reports Shoff, but all incoming resources have been called off the scene, which she says is also a good sign. Two engines remain on the scene. We will bring you more details as soon as they come into the news center.
