Update: Second Wildfire Near Lake Tulloch Bridge Stopped

Update at 6:47 pm:  Firefighters have stopped the forward rate of spread on a three-acre fire on O’Byrnes Ferry Road near the Lake Tulloch bridge.

The “Bridge Fire” was on the Tuolumne County Side.

Traffic is still impacted on O’Byrnes Ferry Road, near the bridge, so travel with caution in the area as mop-up operations take place.

Original story at 6:17 pm: Jamestown, CA — Firefighters are battling at three acre fire on O’Byrnes Ferry Road near the Lake Tulloch bridge.

The “Bridge Fire” is on the Tuolumne County Side.

O’Byrnes Ferry Road is currently closed, near the bridge, so you will need to avoid the area.

There was also a fire earlier this afternoon on O’Byrnes Ferry Road, as reported here.
