La Grange, CA — Local ground resources are assisting with a vegetation fire west of La Grange this morning in Stanislaus County.
CAL Fire reports the flames broke out in some grass on Lake Road near the Highway 132 intersection around 6:30 a.m. Crews were able to contain the fire in about an hour at two acres with three engines and two hand crews on scene. Mop up is currently going on at the scene and will be for about the next hour, according to CAL Fire. What sparked the blaze is under investigation.
