Update: Possible Structure Fire In Tuolumne

Update at 4 p.m.: CAL Fire reports that crews have knocked down the flames that broke out in the chimney flue of a home on the 20400 block of Misty Lane near Canyonview and Deerhaven drive in Tuolumne. The flames did not spread to any other areas of the two-story wood framed house or outside vegetation. CAL Fire reports crews will remain on scene for the next hour mopping up.

Update at 1:50 p.m.: CAL Fire reports additional incoming crews have been called off the scene.

Update at 1:45 p.m.: CAL Fire details that crews are working to extinguish a fire in the flue of a two-story wood framed home in the 20400 block of Misty Lane near Canyonview and Deerhaven drive. All of the individuals in the home were able to escape unharmed.

Original post at 1:30 p.m.: Tuolumne, CA — Fire crews are heading to a possible structure fire in Tuolumne.

The blaze is in the 20400 block of Misty Lane near Canyonview and Deerhaven drive. CAL Fire relays that the flames may have started in the flue of a fireplace in the home. There are no further details at this time, but we will update you as soon as more information comes into the news center.
