Sonora, CA — A fire in the area of Murphy Road and Lime Kiln Road is now estimated to be 50 acres.
There remain a couple of homes that officials are concerned about, but firefighters are in the area working to prevent the blaze from reaching the structures. CAL Fire reports that crews are starting to get a handle on the fire, which started around the one o’clock hour. Smoke has been very visible in the region. Several air resources remain on scene.
