Escaped Camp Fire To Blame

Valley Springs, CA — Cal Fire reports an escaped camp fire ignited a vegetation fire in Rancho Calaveras that destroyed a home and garage. The flames broke out Monday around 12:30pm. CAL Fire reports a home, garage and seven acres of grass and brush vegetation burned in the fire on the 6000 block of Treosti Place in Rancho Calaveras. The home and garage were a total loss, but they have not yet determined a damage amount.

Now, Cal Fire is asking for your help to get more information on the blaze. They are asking anyone with information on the fire to call Cal Fire at 209/754-3831 EXT 2744.
