Jamestown Grass Fire

Jamestown, CA — There is a grass fire in the Jamestown area.


CAL Fire reports that it is in the area of O’Neil Court and Peppermint Creek Road. It is about two acres in size. Crews are battling the fire from both the air and ground. There is no word yet if any homes or structures are in danger. Click here to view a map of the area.


Updated at 11:25am: The forward spread of the fire has been stopped, and no homes have been damaged. Some of the resources are now being allowed to return back to the stations.
