Mariposa County, CA — Fire Fighters have the Carstens fire 90% contained at 1,708 acres. Cal Fire says crews are already working on mop up which includes doing repairs on roads damaged by the heavy equipment brought in to battle the blaze.
The number of ground and air units have dropped to nearly 700 fire fighters, 31 engines, 20 fire crews, 12 water tender and 2 helicopters.
