San Andreas — Fire season is almost here and crews will soon be manning their stations 24 hours a day giving you added protection against a wildfires
The Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit is opening and staffing all stations starting May 21st. The Columbia Air Base helicopter station is already open.
TCU reminds residents that burn permits are required. They encourage all residents to keep working on defensible spaces around their homes.
TCU asks residents to consider alternatives to burning. They suggest recycling, composting or chipping your defensible space debris.
