Cal Fire Battling A Blaze in Calaveras County

Near Valley Springs, CA — Fire crews are battling a blaze at Miles and Ospital road.

Cal Fire says about an acre is in flames and at a slow rate of spread.

No structures are in danger.

Update: Cal Fire says the blaze is fully contained. The cause of the fire is undetermined.

Update: Cal Fire now says an electrical short at a power pole sparked the blaze.
