Update: Structure And Vegetation Fire In Sonora

Update at 7:55 p.m.: CAL Fire reports that the fire is contained at an eighth of an acre and a small outbuilding was destroyed. Crews will remain on scene for the next hour mopping up. What sparked the blaze is under investigation.

Original post at 7:30 p.m.: Sonora, CA –Fire crews are on the scene of a structure and vegetation fire in Sonora. CAL Fire reports that when crews arrived on the scene an outbuilding was on fire and flames had spread to about an eighth of an acre of vegetation. The fire is in the vicinity of the top of Truckenmiller Road across from Pauline Court above Adventist Health Sonora. CAL Fire reports the fire is in brush and moving at a slow rate of spread. We will bring you more details as soon as they come into the newsroom.
