Tuolumne County House Fire

Twain Harte, CA — The house fire happened on the 22000 block of South Fork Road in Twain Harte around 6pm last night. When crews arrived on the scene, smoke was pouring out of a side of the home.

CAL Fire battled the blaze for several hours. They estimate damage to the house is around half a million dollars.


CAL Fire reports there were no injuries. There is no word on what sparked the flames. CAL Fire says the cause is under investigation.


Crews from Columbia College, Pinecrest, Cedar Ridge, Sonora, Chinese Camp, Moccasin, Twain Harte and Mi Wuk helped put out the blaze.
