Mountain Springs Fire Out

Tuolumne County, CA – It happened around 11:30 this morning along Kincaid Flat Road in the Mountain Springs area of Tuolumne County.

CAL Fire says the home was fully engulfed when crews arrived on the scene. They say the flames are now contained.


10 engines and 3 water tenders battled the blaze. Flames did spread to nearby vegetation, but CAL Fire says it was just a spot that was put out quickly. They say no other structures were in danger. CAL Fire says the cause of the blaze is under investigation. There were no injuries.


Agencies that battled the blaze include CAL Fire, Tuolumne County Fire Department- Prevention, Columbia College, Sonora Fire, Jamestown Fire, Long Barn FD, Mono Village FD, and Mono Vista FD.
