San Andres, CA — CAL Fire reports the flames are 50% contained and 23 acres have burned. They say the fire damaged the deck of a house; one barn, and one pump house is completely destroyed.
It started Tuesday afternoon on Michel Road and Mountain Ranch Road berween San Andreas and Mountain Ranch. Crews fought the flames from the ground and air with a helicopter, Air-Attack and a tanker. CAL Fire says they don’t expect full containment until tomorrow morning as crews will be working throughout the night.
CAL Fire says the flames started in some Timber Oak, but they are still investigating exactly what sparked the blaze.
