A Fire Damages A Houseboat

Tuolumne County, CA – CAL Fire reports the fire broke out around 7:30 in the morning on Thursday at MOCCASIN POINT MARINA near JACKSONVILLE ROAD in TUOLUMNE COUNTY.

CAL Fire says flames shot out of an exterior wall on the side of the houseboat docked at the marina. Three engines were on scene to battle the blaze. They say crews fought the flames for nearly three hours.


CAL Fire estimates that damage to the houseboat at about $2000. They say no one was injured and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
