Oakdale, CA– Fire crews continue to battle three vegetation fires this evening.
According to Cal Fire, two of the fires in the Oakdale area have burned over 200 acres.
The first fire started at 1:39 pm on 28 Mile Road and Eastman Road. It has now spread to an estimated 250 acres. The second Oakdale area fire broke out at around 2:30 pm on Cobblestone Road and Stoney Ridge Road. Cal Fire says this fire is estimated to be 206 acres.
Meanwhile, firefighters in Calaveras County remain on the scene of a 20-25 acre vegetation fire in Copperopolis. The fire on Highway 4 and Telegraph Road started shortly after 3 pm.
Multiple fire agencies have responded to these fires including Columbia air attack.
