Paloma, CA – CAL Fire reports that a catalytic convertor on a car started the 100 acre fire near Paloma.
The fire started on Friday afternoon and burned late into the weekend. It was contained Sunday afternoon, and CAL Fire says some resources are still on scene this morning making sure that it does not flare up again.
The fire, in an isolated area of Calaveras County, also destroyed an outbuilding. There were no injuries reported.
