Standard, CA — There is a new vegetation fire in the area of Highway 108 near Waif Mine Road in the Standard area.
Air resources are currently on scene. Details are still preliminary, and the size is unknown. For a map of the area, click here.
Also, Highway 49 remains closed near the Rawhide Road intersection because of a fire. A residence and 4-5 outbuildings have been destroyed in the Tuttletown area. It has spread to around 10 acres. The Sheriff’s Office reports that it could be another couple of hours before Highway 49 reopens.
