Overnight Grass Fires

Valley Springs, CA — There were two overnight grass fires in Calaveras County.

At 11:14pm a 1.3 acre grass fire was reported along Campo Seco Road near Watertown in the Valley Springs area. It was contained at 11:35am, and the cause is under investigation.

Also, a quarter acre grass fire started at around 1:16am in the 3500 block of Leary Court in Valley Springs. It was contained at 1:30am, and the cause is unknown.
