Mountain Ranch, CA — A fire in Mountain Ranch is now considered 60-70 percent contained.
Cal Fire reports that it is located in the 6000 block of Frecerro Road. The fire, which started yesterday afternoon, is 57 acres in size. At one point some homes in the area were considered in danger, but the fire has now died down significantly. Crews will continue to attack the blaze today.
