Sonora, CA — Four significant fires that started in the Mother Lode during yesterday’s windstorm are now contained.
They include the 50 acre Mountain Fire on North Bald Mountain Road, the 10 acre Ferndale Fire near New Priest Grade, and two separate fires in an isolated area of West Point, both being around 100 acres. Crews will be working throughout the day doing mop-up.
There are no other large fires burning in Tuolumne County or Calaveras County.
