Early Morning Highway 108 Fire

Sonora, CA — There was an early morning fire today on Highway 108 near Lime Kiln Road.


It burned approximately two acres of vegetation and an outbuilding. The cause is unknown. The fire started around 12:45am and was contained at 1:42am. Six CAL Fire engines and two baseline crews responded, as well as two engines and two water tenders from Tuolumne County Fire, and an engine from City of Sonora Fire.
