Sonora, CA — Stanislaus National Forest officials say firefighters are in the mop up stages of a wildfire near Lyons Reservoir.
According to Forest spokesperson Michelle Carbonaro, the units responded to the small vegetation blaze this morning and that crews were able to contain the fire at a quarter-acre.
She adds that crews are remaining on scene through the afternoon, extinguishing any remaining areas of heat and that a little smoke may still be somewhat visible.
