Burson, CA — A vegetation fire last night in Calaveras County was quickly extinguished by aircraft and ground resources.
CAL Fire spokesperson Emily Kilgore tells Clarke Broadcasting that the flames broke out in some grass along Burson Road near Circle Hill Drive, between Highways 12 and 26, in the Burson area. She adds the fire was contained at just under an acre in about 20 minutes. No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported. What sparked the blaze is under investigation.
