Snelling, CA — A wildfire that ignited yesterday afternoon near Merced Falls Road east of Snelling is now 165 acres and 30-percent contained.
Firefighters will continue to work towards full containment today. The are no reports of any structures being damaged by the blaze. The CAL Fire Madera-Mariposa-Merced Unit reports that the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
