Seats Ordered For Summerville High Theater

Tuolumne, CA -- Summerville High School and Connections Academy have received a federal grant of $50,000 to install seating at the student theater.
The funds were available through the USDA. The total cost of the seating project is $150,000. Additionally, the Summerville High School Foundation donated $40,000, the school district pitched in $32,000 in bond funds and the remaining money was raised by parents, students, community members and local businesses.
Summerville Superintendent Dr. John Keiter says an order has been placed to the seating company, and they should be installed and ready for use by second semester.
