Mother Lode Firefighters Dispatched To Southern California
Moorpark, CA -- Resources from the CAL Fire Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit find themselves in southern California this week battling an out of control wildfire in Ventura County.
Communications Operator Jim Devoll at the Incident Command Center in San Andreas says the resources include two local strike teams of CAL Fire engines, two strike teams of hand crews, a strike team of dozers and overhead.
The Guiberson Fire in Moorpark has now burned 9,700 acres and is 20 percent contained.
