Marijuana Grove Busted In Angels Camp

Angels Camp, CA — Authorities have busted a marijuana growing operation in the Angels Camp area.
The grove of plants was discovered during a raid of a property at 2100 Hunt Road.
The Campaign Against Marijuana Planting and a team from the Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department located and eradicated the garden.
640 plants were found ranging from five to eight feet tall. Several items of evidence were recovered. A nearby water source was used to feed the garden. A Sheriff´s Department press released says the property owners are not suspects.
The investigation is ongoing.
