An evening with Heather Reith and Paige Haller to discover some of the ways that California State Parks are saving vanishing habitats. Heather Reith, Natural Resource Manager will cover restoring vernal pools, protecting rare and endangered plants and animal, while highlighting plans for future visitor facilities. Paige Haller, Sector manager for five park units including Great Valley Grasslands State Park and Dos Rios State Park will describe the new park’s creation and opportunities to visit and explore. Great Valley Grasslands State Park preserves some of the last remaining native grasslands in the Central Valley while DOs Rios State Park, our newest park is at the confluence of the Tuolumne and San Joaquin Rivers.
