Calaveras County Deputies Uncover Homemade Explosives

Valley Springs, CA — A Redwood City man is in custody after a traffic stop by Calaveras County Deputies last weekend.
The Sheriff´s Department says 23-year-old Kevin Reimer was initially pulled over last Sunday for speeding on Messing Road near Pettinger Road in Valley Springs.
After deputies observed the odor of marijuana in the car, they conducted a search. The Sheriff´s department says the search turned up two homemade explosive devices and a small amount of marijuana.
The County Haz-Mat team was called to pick up the devices. Reimer was arrested and booked into the Calaveras County Jail on $60,000 bail.
