Arnold Man Arrested After Colliding With Tree

San Andreas, CA — An 18-year-old Arnold man is facing DUI charges after driving off of Highway 4 near Hathaway Pines last night.
CHP says William Mierzwak was travelling eastbound on the wet road shortly after 10:30 when he lost control after coming around a curve. A report says the vehicle collided with a tree.
Investigators say Mierzwak suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center where a blood test indicated that he was under the influence of alcohol.
