State Parks Department Offers Reduced Price Day Pass

Sacramento, CA — The California Parks Department is now offering a reduced price day pass for use at 95 of the state´s parks.
The Golden Poppy Pass sells for $90 a year and is good at such parks as Folsom Lake and Tahoe recreation areas.
The pass is offered as an alternative to the standard $125 pass which is good at about 200 of the state´s parks.
The pass is meant mainly for those who may only use a few parks during the year, or the same parks on a more frequent basis.
The Golden Poppy Pass is for day-use only and doesn´t cover camping fees. The pass can be purchased online at the Parks Department website.
