Conrad Seeks New Lawyer in DUI Case

Actor Robert Conrad was in Calaveras County Superior Court yesterday, asking for a new attorney.
Back in March of 2003, Conrad allegedly allowed his Jaguar to drift across the center line of Highway 4 west of Arnold, crashing head-on into a Subaru driven by 27-year-old Kevin Burnett.
Conrad was partially paralyzed, and Burnett was seriously injured. Officials say Conrad had a blood-alcohol level of point-two-two percent, well over the legal limit.
Now, Conrad wants Sacramento attorney Clyde Blackmon to be his lawyer.
The judge in the case set a hearing for May 25th.
