Lockyer Backs Anti-Fraud Legislation

Attorney General Bill Lockyer has joined lawmakers in backing a variety of bills to help detect fraud in the Medi-Cal system. An estimated $2 billion is lost every year to fraud in the medical service program that provides care to 6.8 million low-income families, the elderly and the disabled.
