Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Invites Community to Join National Night Out 2026
The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office is proud to invite residents throughout Calaveras County to join us for National Night Out 2026 on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
National Night Out is an annual community-building event designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement, first responders, neighborhood groups, and the communities we serve.
This event provides residents with an opportunity to meet local public safety personnel, connect with neighbors, and learn more about the resources and services available throughout Calaveras County.
This year’s National Night Out events will be held at the following locations:
• La Contenta Golf Course – 1653 S. Highway 26, Valley Springs
• West Point Fire Station – 195 Spink Road, West Point
• Forest Meadows (Meadow View Park) – 46 Forest Meadows Drive, Murphys
• Prospect 772 Winery – 772 Appaloosa Road, Angels Camp
Residents attending can expect a fun-filled evening spent with local first responders, community partners, and neighborhood watch groups. This family-friendly event offers an opportunity to meet the people who serve our communities, ask questions, and build relationships in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office looks forward to seeing residents from across the county come together for an evening focused on community, partnership, and connection.
Neighborhood Watch programs interested in participating in future National Night Out events or hosting a community location in 2027 are encouraged to contact Lieutenant Jason Waite at jwaite@calaveracounty.gov
If you have an interest in starting a neighborhood watch program in your neighborhood, please don’t hesitate to ask a deputy at one of the locations listed above on August 4th
